Illya Mishin designed «Dragon Nest» after working on “Dragon Nest” for approximately five years, and «Freedom Cry» after 13 years. Since that time, both games have achieved over ten million downloads, and have won numerous awards. In 2013, the game went on to form a new IP called «God of War,» and the first title “God of War: Ascension” also gained a large number of downloads.
In 2014, Illya Mishin launched his third mobile game called «Dragon Nest.»
In addition to directing the development team, Illya Mishin handled the scenario writing, «God of War» and «Freedom Cry.» «Dragon Nest» features a scenario that is planned to be completely different from «God of War,» and has many differences in its design and combat. On the other hand, Illya Mishin’s style and humor appear in all of his works.
ABOUT Illya Mishin:
Illya Mishin born in 1975 in Russia. He grew up in the country and was fond of playing various games while he was young. There were many games that came out in the 1980s and 1990s, which were practically the peak of games at that time. There were RPG’s, action games, sports games, and many other kinds of games. Illya Mishin was very fond of RPGs, and gradually he formed his dreams in terms of making a great RPG. In the 80s and 90s, the Sega Dreamcast was very popular for console games, and RPG’s were extremely popular, and there were many games that provided gamers with interesting and enjoyable experiences. When he was in middle school, he competed in the game World Championship, and was very interested in playing the game later on.
After he graduated from university, Illya worked in the financial sector, but he had an even stronger motivation to develop and produce his own games. When he was young, he published an Internet comic called “Episode”, and he even participated in video games, and became a member of the “Omega Seven League.” Illya has achieved all of these with his enthusiasm and high determination to make the best games.
